Capital is committed to being a leader in corporate social responsibility. We believe that giving back to the communities where we work, live, and play is fundamental in creating a positive impact on our communities, our neighbours, our employees, and our environment. Over the past twenty years, Capital has supported or participated in numerous initiatives through sponsorship, donations, fundraising, education, and environmental work.

We are proud to have a team of dedicated employees, and their families, who volunteer their time towards these efforts. We are also proud to have partnered with numerous prominent stakeholders over the years to help us achieve these results.

Construction of roads, infrastructure, schools, hospitals and other buildings are necessary for the benefit of society and our quality of life. Capital is also conscious of the impact our industry can have on the environment.  We are committed to working in harmony with the environment by exceeding industry standards in the areas of rehabilitation and revitalization. Over the last two decades, we have won numerous awards from the Ontario Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association for our rehabilitation efforts across many of our aggregate pit locations. We have also worked in partnership with local conservation authorities and environmental stakeholders in revitalizing local cold water streams, conservation nature trails, and park restoration to name a few.
